Limsandy, thats the exact size I just bought. Will I need spacers for the rears or will they sit ok?

 

I have 19x8s with a 45 offset...but I have 5mm spacers in the front and 15mm spacers in the rear. So 40f/30r dropped on S. Techs with no problems. Infact I wish I would have went with the 8.5" wide wheels.

 

anyone w/ 19x10 in the rear? the staggered look?

 

There was a Maxima with 19x9.5 with Enkei Aegis. I believe those come with 45mm offset, so he must have used wheel spacers. I myself are going to put 19x9.5 wheels with 35mm offset at the back and I'll let everyone know how they'll fit.

Yeah, but what can I do? I fell in love with those wheels. At most, I'd just have to trim or hammer away my fender for a little bit.

When you say they're gonna rub, you mean the front or the back or both?

What type of wheels are you getting? That sounds like its going to be a sick setup. I'd have to say from my fairly small knowledge of offset vs. width that it will just fit without rubbing. And even if you do have to trim it a little, who cares by the sounds of it your going to have one hell of a nice setup.

That will not work. You'll need something like 40-45 offset in the back, and even then it might rub depending on your drop and certain driving conditions. That wide of a wheel def won't work in the front...

 

I have 19 x 8.5 with 35 mm. Up front I think they are perfect and out back there is still about 20mm of space if you want to go righ out to edge. No rub anywhere at anytime adn I am running H&R springs

 

Could I fit a 19x8 rim with a 20mm offset? I know 20 is really low, but it's only 8" wide. I'm running 235/35s.

 

Someone was running Axis Hiros 19x8.5 w/ 35mm offset and no rubbing issues according to him.

 

Yeah Nathan has those, but I'm just trying to find another wheel because they're going to be on backorder for a really long time. The TSW Thruxtons come in 40 and 20mm offsets and I was wondering if I could squeeze in the 20. I'm not sure how these clear big calipers, but I just ran across them tonight and it made me wonder. They're also like $400 cheaper than the Hiros. I could get the Hiros in silver right now, but I want the grey finish.

 

Yea I'm also wanting to get the gunmetal Heros but I'm not in a hurry since I won't mount them until spring time anways.

Fronts are perfectly flush with fender, rear still has about 20-25mm of extra space. The best size would be a 19x9.5" with a 40-45mm offset in the rear.

those were 19x8.5" 35mm offset.. 255/35/19 front
and 19x9.5" 35mm offset ... 275/30/19 rear

 

can the 5th gen support wider setups than the 4th gen?

A little update on this thread....I've been through 2 cars since I first posted here but...I later on ran 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 staggered on my Maxima. Offsets were 35 front 30 rear. I even ran a 5mm spacer in the rear with out a problem. Pics:

 

So your saying you ran a 25mm offset in the rear including the spacer?

 

Yes....with a 275/30/19. It would rub with people in the back. But I never ran 4 people with those wheels so it wasn't an issue.

im not sure about the tein basic's... the fronts are 19x8.5" 34mm offset.. they have no issues..

 

They look like the Racing Hart c4 Multi-piece wheels. Same style at least.
