I still gotta wire them up, but I got them installed into my headrests finally. let me say, cutting your leather interior is scary!

may i suggest something, since i have these tv's as well...i put 7's in 4th gen headrests and put them in my 5th gen.
take the tv's shroud and put it inside the leather. then put the tv in, with the leather sandwiched between the shroud and the screen. this'll make it hard for the tv to snap in, but that' sjust better. the tightness of the leahter will hold the shroud in place, and overall the setup is gonna look REAL clean. here's a few pics...the cloth has to be tightened in certain spots, but you get my point. these were custom headrest covers, since 4th gens did not come in frost color, i had to make my own. actually, playero's mom took care of that.

as you can see, the shroud isn't visible, and IMHO, that looks so much neater. again, just a suggestion. tell me what you think. oh yeah, aren't the iconz great screens. i love em. price beats everything vs. quality

good idea, but my leather is already cut for the shroud...i'd have to get new leather headrests to try that. It's all good though, i like it the way it is. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe the next guy will try it your way.

Ed, I forgot to tell you about putting the shroud inside the leather first, makes for a cleaner look, sorry!! I did mine that way, just looks cleaner. Are you sure there isnt enough leather there to fit inside the shroud? If there is, you could fix it.

Yea, I know it won't work out that way. I kind have made a boo boo on the passenger side. The shroud covers it, but I know the other way will show it. It's all good though...I'm happy with it

Thanks Tony....maybe I'll change it if I ever get two-tone leather. I want to, but it's hard to justify changing leather for leather. We'll see. btw...you going to that meet in Grafton on April 24th & 25th?

OK guys...I had to change it. I saw a IS300 that had screens set up w/ the shroud inside and . So I gave it a shot. the passenger one shows two small slits from the original cuts(i did that one first), but looks ok anyway. Here's a pic of the driver's side. better or worse than before?
