Found a deal on radials but need opinions

Ok guys theres a local guy thats willing to sell me 2 300zx wheels for 50 bucks. They are 16x7.5. Im not sure if they will clear the brakes on my 6th gen though, im hoping so. Also got a bud with some nitto DRs that hes willing to sell for 60 bucks. The size is 245/50/16 and to stay within the closest spec to OEM I would need to run 245/55/16 but will the 245/50s work ok? Its such a deal I dont wanna pass it up. Im assuming since the overall diameter is smaller it will change my gearing a lil and I will shift to 4th sooner in the 1/4 but thats fine by me because 4th pulls real hard. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!!!

I don't know for sure, but i don't think the 16's will be able to clear.

I think you might have problems clearing the brakes, 6th gen brakes are 12.6" if I recall. At $50 though you could just buy em and if they don't clear then sell them, could probably even make a profit on them.

I dont anticipate the size being a problem on the DRs. You would most likely need to shift into 4th in the 1/4 mile even with the stock size, so running a smaller size would improve your gearing (for acceleration) and get you into 4th earlier which is a good thing.
