Splash Guards....do they come OEM?

Simple question...do any of you guys have splash guards on your Max? Are they OEM? I don't really want the universal fitment ones from Wal-Mart. Plus I am a detailing fanatic and hate to see rain water splashed over my sparkling black doors.

Anyone?

Yes, they do come oem. I have an extra set if you name the right price. PM me if you are interested, but yes both of my sets say NISSAN on them.

Thanks guys! Mike, BTW, Thanks for your input on replacing fog bulbs (I PMed you to ask three weeks ago and you had replied right away). Passenger side one came off easily with a large philipps, but drivers side was starting to strip, so I am going to use 10mm on it. Forgot to thank you earlier, that's all! So thanks!

Rosamax, thanks for letting me know, bro. Yes, I do want them. Do you have a complete set of four or are they only for front? Also, what color are they? Are they painted?

Splash guards are pretty helpful, I had em on my 90. Just be careful though, the metal behind them started rusting and I didnt realize it until I could see it affecting the metal not covered by the splash guard.

I have all four, brand new. The guy I bought the car from had one of his old ones fall off becuase of rust on my one wheel well, but the flap isn't bad so I am just going to improvise and reuse it when I get rid of the rust. They are all black rubberized plastic or something. No paint or anything, brand new, still in the wrappers.

BTW, I think the OEM ones add like 7-8 wheel HP over the cheap, Wal-mart ones.

my 90 se has them. still has them. rear driver's side rubber around connector screw thing is damaged. needs glue or something to make hole in rubber smaller.

Has anyone tried painting them? What about modding them to fit with a stillen kit? Kinda like the new altima's look.

Comments?

sure why not...dont you paint the stillen kit...how about the old ground effects on the mid to late 80s (early 90s) Camaros.

You can paint it...it may peal and it may not...todays urethane paints are pretty flexible.

FYI

Yeah, If you prep it right & use a flex-agent w/a good urethane based paint. Most body shops don't wanna f**k w/painting plastics because its to much hassle, they don't know how, or they don't use the right paint. They say "it'll never stick, blah, blah, blah." Well, I painted my SE mirrors & my stillen kit w/o a problem.
