2k2 brembo brake rotors

Does brembo make brake rotors for the 2k2, if so is this a good deal?

So why all these part sites list Brembo rotors for 2002 Maxima???? I called the company in the first post up and they said that if Brembo says they don't make them, then it's a mistake in their catalogue, and they will check it tomorrow....

I discovered this same thing after calling Brembo almost a year ago. The 2K2 and up rotors are a different size than '00-'01 vehicles. At the time I was buying rotors, Brembo did not manufacture the correct part even though a lot of on-line dealers were advertising them. Turns out that Raybestos did make the part and that's what I bought. So far so good with almost 20K on them. They've worn much better than the OEM rotors. I've also been using Porterfield R4S pads and I'm quite happy with them. They are much gentler on the rotor than a semi-metallic would be.

Where did you purchase the rotors and pads and at what price?
I am frankly really disappointed in Maxima brakes, after having really good Altima brakes (I put 150k on one set of rotors and 2 sets of front/rear pads/shoes w.o. turning the rotors. Everything was OEM and braking was great....

Brembo positively, absolutely does not make front rotors for 2k2/2k3 Maximas. I spent countless hours verifying this. They are planning on getting them out sometime this year, but no ETA.

I got the pads direct from Porterfield. I don't remember where I bought the rotors but plenty of retailers carry Raybestos products. The Porterfields helped in a big way - I still wouldn't say the brakes are really good - but at least they are now adequate.
