I'm putting in a new mirror with autodimming, compass and temp.
Question is ... is there any way to use existing temp sensor (outside temp) with Gentex mirror? Did anybody "play" around with connecting 'em?

PS: the mirror is GNTX-177 (and no, I don't have an original Gentex temp. sensor)

 

if you got the specs on a Gentex sensor, you might be able to modify the stock one to work with it - assuming the Gentex one is based on a variable resistance as well
