I see, 1..2...3..4 lugs, are these mr7's? or 6's? I believe the motegi website is wrong, since the maxima is not a 4 bolt pattern. Their application chart lists the 4th gen as a 4 bolt..., did you need to do something else to get these on? ordid you just put on 4 lugs and leave it at that?

I have ground controls on there with stock struts, im saving up for KYB's. They are the new cooper zeon XTP tires in 225/45/17. The tires were 81 a piece. I got the rims from some dude on ebay.

No offense - it looks REALLY nice.

But I've seen A LOT of Motegi's bend. Not high-quality rims, and usually fairly heavy.

Try some 5Zigen FN01R-C's - 17lbs for an 18" Rim, and much more durable.

<see below>

Motegis are a budget brand...I LOVE those 5Zigens man. Those are another wheel I am considering..in bronze 17s. Was always wondering how they would look on a Maxima...been seeing them on a few clean Hondas/Acuras/240sxs around the area.

What have you heard about the "KNONGS Holes" Rims. They are about 12-15 pounds and they are 17's?

I installed my ground controls(w/stock shocks) on thursday
i did have a kind of squeaking/cracking sound at first when i turned the wheel too far one direction. But it seems to have been broken in now and is fine. I was wondering if you found it scary to replace those monstrous front springs with the tiny little ground control springs. Scared the crap outta me

either you need bigger tires cause those tires look to small on your max
