whats wrong with jet ecu?

i know that in http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php says the ecu is no good but has anyone really tested it or dynoed it as far as i know they made good things even my bro is using it in his 99 vw passat 2.8lt and he told me his car runs a little bit faster (buttdyno) i think if it gives at least 10 hp is great

Jet ecu

I think im probably one of the only people who have tried the Jet ecu upgrade. In all honesty you can tell the difference. I actually purchased a ecu and had it reprogrammed by JET. From the moment I swapped the jet ecu in the car felt faster on take offs as well as on the freeway. I just recently sold the ecu to a friend and he loves it.

did you ever TAKE. Basically it sucks. Waste of money, minimal gains and a fake-*** dyno.

no I never took my car in to get dynoed. However the gain is substantial enough to feel, unlike an air intake in which you only hear an increase in sound as well as throttle response. As I said I had two ecu's, so I could definetly feel the difference.
