I told him about the blinkers, but he won't listen. Someone stole one of them so he has to ride like this for now. About the jack stands, he already knows better than that. We always got jacks when working under there. Nice site Mike, you have a good photogropher.

Hey Michal I see you put on the powerslot slotted rotors, are they any good? Do you feel a noticable difference in braking performance?

Also, what did you mean about the 10mm lines giving you problems? I don't follow, did you buy the SS lines and are you saying they're hard to install?

Nice car.

Hey there Maciek. The lines are pretty straight forward to install the problem is the little 10mm bolt that is on the stock lines. We tried to get it off for a couple weeks and the thing wouldn't move. Even with a flare wrench we ended up stripping it. BTW the rotors feel great I I think he finally broke them in. Bad news is that his tranny is acting up and he's debating whether to do it ourselves(probably not at this point) or take it to some shop. He's just wating for his Fidanza to come in. Sorry Mike for stealing your thread but I know you're at work til late probably and since I knew the datails I thought I'd save you the trouble.

Thats fine "BigD" its cool. And yeah, i am a brave man. I didn't have jacks that went up that high, so i just took a chance. Kind of dumb. I'm glad u guys like the car, and that orange/DC will go soon. For now, like dave said, the tranny is acting up. So i need to take care of that. Maciek, the powerslot rotors feel great, and the hawk pads don't dust much. I like it. Too bad the SS lines are not in yet. Someday though... i'll install em.

Nice and very clean. Play it safe w/jackstands like previously stated, but im really liking the calipers.

Someone stole your orange corner? I've had my clear, uncurved part stolen twice, the same piece actually. If you want, we can do an even trade.... pm and let me know

Thanks for the info guys. Seems like you've done quite a bit to your car since I last saw it. I have a big project coming up myself, but not until another month or two. I'm dropping my Max, pairing yet to be bought H&R springs with the tokico illuminas. I think this setup will leave me most satisfied. I'm debating whether or not to purchase the motivational mounts etc., which some here have suggested.

drewm in another thread wrote: "Probably about 10-20% have them. Usually it's the people who really care about handling.

I'd say they are even more important when your springs are softer, due to the increased chance that you'll hit bumpstops. If I were to do it all over again, I'd still buy the motivational mounts. Personally I think it's a steal at its price, for a 1" increase in suspension travel."

What are your thoughts on that????

And thanks, the calipers came out good on my car. Thanks for the comments

Maciek you should come by this Sunday. Hopefully we'll be installing my suspension. If not the suspension we'll find something else to fix, or break just to fix it.

I got arospeed springs and ST shocks/struts. My stock struts are blown so I need something for a year or so to hold me over before I go with the JICs. No mounts, just the KYB boots to keep the stock suspension travel.

I know you guys are talking to the other Maciek, but I figured I need to get up there sometime too. It should be a good time.
Like the car Mike! Keep up the good work.
