Everyone I have seen likes my lights except my father... Just curious what all of you think. Be easy on me...

 

i would like it if it had the upper part of the circle painted but even then only a little because outside the circle matches everything else, no contrast whatsoever.

Well, that is what I am lookin for, everyones opinion, you can hate it, I dont care, but I think they look much better than the stocks...

 

The all chromes give too much contract to the body color. I think the Black/ chrome would go better with Grey Lustre.

 

As long as you're happy Not my cup of tea however.

 

I like the stock SE lights I think they look much better but I say go with what you like.

In regards to the taillights...it looks photoshopped or the picture is bad, anyhow not for me. I say nay. i would go with SE taillights. Why don't you swap your lights every 6 months, it will be like those cell phone color faceplates...but on a car!

 

I'm not really feeling it. Too much chrome area vs the dark color of the car... Like maximazero said there's too much contrast.
Also you'll get pulled over for not having a red reflector like soonerfan said.

dude, those are the nastiest looking maxima tailights ever.... they look cheap and they look cheap..... but it's your car so we'll leave it at that....

actually, i dont think they are because he has a spoiler w/a reflector. i may be wrong.

 

I just went out and shined a flashlight on my spoiler light....it does not qualify as a "reflector"...doesn't really reflect anything.

Those tails might look only "bad" and not "terrible" if the car was pearl/white...but on a dark color, "heinous" is an appropriate term. Plus the "illegal" factor does not add to the appeal.

Honestly, I think they look terrible. Kinda like the Altezzas do on Mustangs and Camaros.

 

You asked for the opinion...so here it goes.....I personally think they look like crap....I think they look like crap on the Lex too....not my taste...as long as you like them, thats all that matters...

 

yeah, im not really feelin em, sorry dude :/ I think the stock ones look much nicer, maybe you should try some stuff with them, get the red trans paint, and paint the top half red, or somethign I dunno. no one has really messed around with the lights yet, be a pioneer ;P

 

Clear tails have always been fugly, yet somehow they were popular up until about 5 years ago...

 

Yeah that was definitly a style 5 years ago on civics, but not now. Sorry man I think they look horrible. Just paint a part of them red and they will look 100 times better.... plus you won't get a ticket with them.

 

Clear outs = rice, learn to love the orange or get some 01SE tails.

everyone has there tastes... mine is ewwww! lol! not w/ that color at least. IMO SE taillights would look sweet on ur ride.

 

I think thats the most horrifying thing anyone can POSSIBLY to do a maxima. But whatever floats your boat. I need a different car now, that's how bad it is. Sorry for being blunt.

 

I agree with everyone that the SE tail lights look much better (my wife also agrees with everyone). However ill give you credit for having a crappy picture and say that they may look alot better in person.

 

Please don't tell me you have clear bulbs in there too!

Maybe it is a Vegas thing. Everyone at work and wherever I go, keep telling me that they like em. Maybe I just posted bad pictures of it.... I dont know, I think I might keep em on there since no one has em, and if a cop pulls me over,then I will take em down. I kept my stock ones just in case... Thanks though
