Bumped into another car backing out of a parkin space

damnit...i parked real close to the white line the parkin lot, and some one else parked there right after me. on my way pullin out of the parkin spot, i bumped his car and smeared my front bumper. The paint only cracked in one tiny spot, but i have a white maxima and the other guys car was red, now i have reddish streaks on my car. Is there anyway i can buff the color off my paint job.

have somebody wet sand and buff it out. after it will be the newest looking part on your car . too bad your not in the boston area. my buddie works for an detailing shop and he would do it for cheap on the side.

I wouldnt wet sand it until you've tried other things (unless your experienced).

I'd try your finger nail, towels, maybe a sponge, maybe try buffing it, etc. I would use sand paper as a last resort.

get some rubbing compound and go to rubbing.

If you do wet sand it only use 1500-2000 grit or you will cut too deep.
