Looks like a cefiro'd up I30 to me. But whats up with that black plastic molding that goes all the way around the car?

I like that front end, but the plastic and the rear end really kill that car.

Not quite.

That's a European version of the A32 called the Maxima QX.

yes, this is the european version of the Maxima... inside it's exactly the same as our maximas...outside, it's almost like the i30's here...

Hi there,

I happen to own one of these babies. It was marketed in Central and South America as "Maxima 30GV". Chassis number starts with JN1CCUA32 . . . blah blah. It was built in Japan, so I would call this the "Japanese Max"

The fellow who said "Cefiro" is right, It was sold in some countries under that name too.

Those who said i30 are also right. This fully loaded "Japanese Max" was sold in the US as the Infinity i30. They are exactly the same car: Standard leather, sunroof, rear spoiler, very nice wheels, fog lights, "wooden" dash, adjustable suspension, etc. The "30G" or "30J" lack the Sunroof / Spoiler kit as well as the leather and the adj. Suspension.

The good news for US Max owners is that quite everything "fits"... E-mail me if you want some pics.

Regards,

BrazilianMax

not necessarily true...there were maximas that came with the 2.0 . . . but most of them were 3.0l . . . .

Not mine naijai. Got the V6, my trim level is "30GV"

Check out the new 30GV´s, and the way they are being offered.

Look at the size of the rotors in this pic:

Seems like overkill to me. Plus, it looks stupid- like his rims are spinners or something.

Yeah- definately. I need to get my hood re-painted down the road, and I could do the grill @ the same time.

Let me know, please.

Have any of you guys used Mozilla Browser, by chance? I am having trouble with it loading all the buttons here on the .org, but IE is horrible and has too many pop-ups. Do you have any suggestions?

I seen that maxima on cardomain b4. Very nice car. The owner road races, and drag races the car. I think it runs high 14's. Not bad for a 2L VQ.

I was not aware, but now that you mention it, it is obvious.

Yes, it does look very similar to the SMX grille.

yea, thats pretty obvious, not because it's a bad photochop, but because that would be impossible to do

btw, for anyone who knows, were the US model maximas sold only in US and Canada? cuase i know in europe and the middle east they sell the infinity I30 / I35 as the maxima QX and dont have the "regular" maxima at all
