nokya super blues melted my harness

I bought the nokya super blue bulbs and they melted the harness. does anyone know of blue headlights that wont do this? I had to replace both of them myself for 60$ nissan dealership wanted 230 to do then 30 for each housing and the rest was for the labor(yeah right).

If you increase the wattage of the bulb you have to buy a better harness to suit the extra heat. You can have any color bulb you want if its the right wattage.

You should ask the dealer that you got them from what the wattage rating on them is. I have 85w in mine and never had a problem melting with high wattage headlights

I have standard wattage nokya purples and couldn't be happier. I don't have to worry about melting harnesses, and the lighting is great. I had sylvania cool blues (not very bright), and I bought some hyper's to compare and they aren't as bright.
