USED rotors with NEW pads PREP?

According to my Hawk HPS box install directions, I need turn the rotors if out of spec(I don't believe necessary), clean rotors of all old pad material, oil, dirt, etc. using soap/water, then refinish rotor surface by using 130-grit or something sandpaper, and then bed/burnish the new pads per instructions.

Questions:
------------
1)How do I properly and completely PREP the previously used rotors to make sure I don't have to pull these suckers off soon after install?

2)I don't plan on resurfacing the rotors, is this a completely BAD idea if relatively new?

3)Should I buy new backing plates vs. reusing old(30K miles)?

4)Will any pad/backing plate grease work or are there superior brand/types?

Thanks in advance~!

Not warped/pitted rotor are fine to reuse (despite what some stores will tell you).

You can reuse shims...

I just clean them and go over them lightly with some sand paper.

Racers will season in new pads with old rotors, new rotors with used pads...
