360 radar + tint

I don’t know where else to post this question, so I’ll just post it here. I want to get 5% tint on my 4th gen maxima (just do 3 back windows) and I also think of getting a Valentine One radar system (which as they say and show, has little back radar to scan anything in the back.) Now my question is, will this 'back radar' work well with tint or can tint in anyway interfere with its performance? This question might sound stupid to some, by its my question and I don’t know an answer to it.

Thanks for your input

If the glass doesnt interfere than the tint wont either. Plus some vehicles come with factory tint and thier 360 statement wouldnt be valid on all cars if the tint would interfere.

You could also do a search on google for "valentine 1 window tint" and see all the great reviews from ppl who have tint and the valentine and window tint.

I read somewhere that tint lowers the performance of a radar detector but not by much....I have 5% tint in the rear and my radar detector still works great.....saving my @ss.

I've also heard it reduces it a little but I have 20% on my back window and it still works pretty good at picking up from behind.

only tints that are metallic or similar material will affect the performance of radar detectors, regular tint (should) not affect the performance of radar detectors...

Ive had a Valentine one for some time (since 1998) and every car Ive driven has had limo or darker. My 03 has tint that registers a true 0 on the meter. I get insane amounts of range outta my V1. PM w/ any questions....
