For those who have performed clutch TSB
I am taking my car in for the second time pertaining the clutch howl noise. The first time the dealership replaced the clutch disc as directed by the TSB. However, after about 10k miles of use the noise returned. I have had to go through the trouble of reinstalling my oem suspension just in order for Nissan to go through with servicing the vehicle.
After leaving my car at the dealership for half the day, they were unable to duplicate the howl noise and I had to go there myself to demonstrate it. After hearing the noise, the service rep and techs that it was the throwout bearing and pressure plate as the possible cause of noise without even fully diagnosing my clutch\flywheel\transmittion to see what the exact problem is. The service rep went ahead and ordered the pressure plate and throwout bearing with the presumption that these are the parts to be replaced. My concern is that Nissan is going to take the cheaper route of spending a mere $150 to just make the noise go away when it could be a deeper, terminal issue. Considering that their original attempt at accomplishing the TSB resulted in the noise returning, should I be concerned that Nissan is only interested in fixing the symptoms and not in addressing the possibility that the entire clutch assembly is faulty? Have those of you with the clutch TSB returned your vehicle for the same noise again?

My clutch (at least I think its the clutch) hums sometimes when it's cold out (sub 60 degrees Farenheit). It hums only during the engagement, when I pull the pedal out, and then goes away. Is this the same thing?
Edit: Or is the TSB just for 5.5 gens

I too have had my clutch replaced for the howl TSB and it returned. I also have a squealing sound that is present with the clutch engaged and when I brought the car back for the howl again they told me it was the throw out bearing. Haven't got it fixed get though. I'll let you know when I do and if it clears up the howl. If you'd do the same I'd appreciate it...
BTW, Nissan service s@#cks!
