Okay bad news in maxi land.

Today we started to replace my old sunroof in my car. (previous owner had it installed)

Old Model FarMount f1000
New Model ES3200

Anyhoo

We are working on the car and I finally get it fitted in there right after 2 tries and its perfect. Then my dad goes to tie in the electrical and she goes dead.

He hooked the HOT wire coming from the fuse box to the ground. Bad mistake we know.

Car has power,
Horn works
Alarm works
All power options work.

Doesnt work?
Wont start,
No Radio
NO "CLICKING"

Nothing

Any ideas?

I need a 100% answer if you guys got it.

If the power wire he shorted was coming from the fuse box then its probably a blown fuse if not id take the fuse box out and look to see if there are any burnt or melted parts.

 

check the fuses

 

check all your heavy gauge ignition and accessory fuses under the hood. i'll bet something under there is popped.
