to adapt the 70mm throttle body from the early 3-liter Pathfinder engines to replace the 60mm TB of the 2000 and 2001 3-liter engines?

 

ive seen a few threads where 4th guys did this but most if not all were FI. i would think it would help with throttle response but i doubt there is much if any power for NA. that is mainly based on the 4th gens who were FI that said there was not much of a difference.

 

What good would changing the TB do if the rest of the intake path wasn't reworked/enlarged as well? You might end up creating a problem with airflow...

 

That's why I'm posing this as a question in lieu of a statement....I want to find out if anyone has tried and what has been the results. It could very well be that indeed, without other mods along the lines of what u suggest there is no gain....that's what I'm after...information & first-hand experience
