Anyone knows how to reconnect the "brain" (computer control unit) of the alarm system?
I just bought used 1998 maxima and discover that the computer control unit of the alarm system was disconnected. Now I have that alarm unit on hand but I don't have any idea WHERE is the brain originally placed. The labels sticked on the windows show the brand of the alarm system "Pursuit". I wonder if this is a build-to-order alarm because I saw the same sticker on another maxima on the street. Right now the remote entry is working but it can not make any sound when I lock or unlock the doors. I guess it should have more security funtion after the brain is connected again.

Sup man.. the control unit is behind the radio.. it back there on the left... on the bottom. you have to take out the radio and youll see the wiers. if its stock alarm then it should be there.... when you lock and unlock your car its not supposed to make any sound maxima is just like that....good luck check this out mabye it wil help you. http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=13
