Sounds like you need new hood struts. I think they run for somewhere between $25 and $50. I need new ones too. I'm using vice grips to hold mine up

I use the handle from my jack to hold my hood up.

I remember putting my wipers back on once. Then all the sudden my hood came crashing down and one of the bolts that holds the hood hinge to the hood landed right on the **** of my wrist. My wrist was black and purple for like 2 weeks after that.. ouch!

On this note, buy some new hood struts.

He seems to be a bit busy lately so you might have to wait a bit to get them if you do order them. But he's reliable. I've bought many things from him. Still waiting on my control arm bushing though, Brian

I got mine at discount auto parts. Used to be Advance Auto. They were a direct fit too. Some of them are not. Some you have to drill out. I think I got both for about $50.

Gotta Love this place!
They are $50 a pair shipped, I think the problem with non-direct fitting affects the 92-94s
Because about 1/2 of the units I've sold come back but IIRC they were all 92,93,94s
besides, IF they don't work for ya I'll refund the money no problems

Age, the deterioration of the seals, fluid leaking past said seals
