You had money for rims but not suspension? Chrome looks terrible on a max but to each his own as they say. With the huge gap the car looks like crap with the wheels, without them as well I'm guessing.

Do you have a point or are you just saying that cause you have chrome rims yourself? I'll be the first to tell you that chrome looks like **** on a maxima, even the simplest design. If I ever put chrome wheels on a car please shoot me before anyone sees it.

Nice job. You need to lower it though. Well, I need to lower my 5th gen too but I can't. There's speed bumps all over Chicago. And my driveway will make me scrape.

I'm not trying to steal anyones thread by arguing with you about rims. All I'm saying is a statement like this --->"I'll be the first to tell you that chrome looks like **** on a maxima, even the simplest design" is very ignorant and it tells me a lot about the person saying it.

Only thing it says is that I have taste and prefer not to be flashy. Chrome belongs on SUVs and classic cars, not maximas. The rims you have would look good in black or gunmetal but look like *** in chrome, especially the flower pettal look.

Well Big D, thanks for your input. We all really care what you think. It seems as though you're the "e-thug" for coming in this thread and knocking this guy's wheels. Please share your valuable opinion whenever chrome wheels appear on this site. Also there are 3.612 x 10²º gallons of water in the ocean, so even one million whales nutting once an hour won't make a difference. The salt is from deep sea vents, rift vents, and volcanoes.

elgato... looks good. Definitely drop it when you get the chance. There's a group deal for the Illuminas for $425 shipped. Also check the 4th Gen Classifieds often and you should be able to find

I think that everyone has told you that you need a drop. So i won't. The only thing that i don't really like on the car is the grille and the chrome wheels other than that the car looks good. I like the color of the maxima

Elgato, not bad at all. As everyone has said, a drop is relaly needed. Since you have a body kit, I say go with some H&R's. That way you don't have to worry as much about clearance on driveways and speed bumps. They would compliment you car very well IMHO. Keep up the good work.

Hey man, ride is looking good...hate to say it, but the side skirts just don't flow...maybe cuz it doesn't line up with the rest of the kit

I was gonna post something about this Big D's comment on chrome in my last post, but got sidetracked. Anyway, I personally wouldn't like chrome on any of my cars, however, it doesn't mean that everyone has to be that way. I compliment guys that use chrome on thier cars. It's thier creation, they put the work into doing it. There really isn't no one or right way to do something to your car, and to say there is is total BS. I follow one motto, and it works for pretty much anything: If you like something, go for it, and do it. It's not so much what anyone thinks about it, it about what you think about it. If your happy with it, that means more than what someone else thinks.

Either way, as I say before, Elgato, the car looks great with the chrome!
