Ok i thought i'd post this real quick before i go to work (on Easter!) I'm Auto btw. When my car downshifts from either second to first or third to second my rpm's will jump up and then when it shifts into gear it will go down about 500-700rpm. has this every happened to anyone? would a tranny flush fix this? my last recorded one was at 76,000mi and it's at 112,000mi. thanks

seems like ur trans is slipping. an internal problem you'd have to have ur trans taken apart to properly diagnos and correct/fix the problem, good luck i am about 85% sure about this being the case

 

wow. did not want to hear that, it drives fine and everything it's just a few times when it shifts it does that. should i get it checked out now or just wait for it to go? possibly sell the car and get another Max? any suggestions?

 

i'd have someone drive it for you first, like aamco or some place and see if they notice any issues

 

i get a weird thing happen every once in a while but its when im doing retarded things with the throttle while driving. my tranny hates me, and lets me know sometimes. aamco said not to worry about it, its a random slip i get like once a month if at all.
