First Run

Me Intake, y pipe, catback, udp. My 200lb Dad riding shotgun.

Slizan Intake, y pipe, muffler. No passengers.

I get him by .3 sec on the tree. He gains .014 in the first 60 ft. I continue to pull until the end. My ET wins by .157. Actual distance between us is .3593.

Basically a slaughter!

Oh by the way...no specific ETs will be given cause they are just too sad. To give you an idea, my top trap speed of the day was 91 mph. I averaged 90mph passes. ATL Dragway sucks.


Second Run

Me Intake, y pipe, catback, udp. Got my mom in riding shotgun(scared as hell, LOL)

Slizan Intake, y pipe, muffler, 75 shot wet. His buddy riding shotgun.

I get him by .35 on the tree. I gain another .051 in the first 60ft. I pull until right before the 1/8 mile where he gains .215(this is where he sprayed). He continues to pull until he passes me and beats my ET by .64 and my mph by 8mph. Actual time he beat me by was .2906.

Sorry for the weird stories...No ETs need mentioning..ha.




I also ran a couple 350z. They both had air intakes. My first run I got him on the tree and we ran side by side until the top of 2nd gear. As soon as we hit 3rd he walked me swiftly...finishing about 4-5 car lengths ahead of me.

Second run. I got the other guy on the tree again...went head to head for 1st gear, 2nd gear, and the beginning of 3rd...end of 3rd he pulled hard and beat me by .3 sec actual time but .7 ET.

Both of the 350s ran slower than my best ET seen in my sig but again that was cause the track blows...

All in all ...its just fun being at the track...who cares about ETs anyway!?!?!

 

Oh yeah. I have vids of all my races but no way of getting them online. My first run against slizan my Dad was taking it from the passenger seat and didnt take the cover off until halfway down the track. Second run with Slizan my Dad got from the stands.

I think Slizan has the vids and a way of getting them online...I'll have to get him to post our lousy races.

I also got vid of a supercharged 800whp Viper going 12.5...the guy admitted to me he had no idea how to drive the car. his best ET to date is 11.4.

Also of a Roadrunner going down the track...about halfway down the track the hood pops off and flies about 50ft into the air....pretty crazy.

that sounds like an accurate description of what happened


what he doesn't say is that i didn't beat my best time from when i had an auto tranny. my brand new clutch is slipping and chattering to an extreme level.


the videos are decent sized (6-9 megs) and you get wonderful commentary from this kid that was there
he's a track newbie
