WTF are you talking about....how many times are you gonna just spout out ridiculous, useless misinformation?? just like the other thread about the VGT swap...if you don't know, don't say ****! Geeez man

the cams fit fine with NO MODIFICATION...ECU upgrade is not needed either but reccomended!

agreed, ecu upgrade is a smart idea but the motor WILL run with the JWT cams alone, i know personally my buddy with a vg installed them.

If you want to learn, ask questions, don't spout misinformation posing as truth. You didn't even know what gasket to buy for a y-pipe or how to install it properly. I'm gonna have to side with DA-MAX 100% here. Also, give me your address so I can send you a dictionary for Christmas.

Just for the record my install of the wsp y-pipe went perfectly, with no problems at all ! and I never posted about having an install problem. I contacted wsp and they told me that the extra noise will go away in a few days. (and it has)
- this is just proof of how these fools are mistaking my lack of knowledge of cars with a non existing attitude to know it all

JWT cams are very good, I'd also recommend installing JWT valvesprings and retainers at the sametime if possible. That way the car would make little more power up top and you won't have to worry about floating the valves at high rpm for extended times.

stage 2 cams are about the limit of the stock ecu capabilities, there are larger ones out there {300zx and pathfinder} but they have more open ended ecu's then the max does.

drop some stage twos in there, get some fuel mods and call it a day.
remember, change the lifters out with NEW ones when you do it

chris, drop the attitude, we don't need flames here.

do more research before you spout something off.

If you don't know the answer don't spout your mouth like you know. Let the people that actually KNOW THE INFORMATION inform CORRECTLY so there's no cluttered up BS posts.

Install a Y pipe? What do you want some type of award? Give me a 14mm long socket, 12 mm box/open end and a 14mm box end and I can remove/install my Cattman Y blindfolded(no lie).

Chris, either post responsibly or don't post at all. That's all I have to say and there is NO debate about it. If you complain/*****/biach about it, you gonna get a temp vacation from here. Please don't test me.

Chris, just say you are sorry and take this one as a learning experience. You're better off man, honestly. No point in arguing about it. You were wrong, just apologize. As for everyone else. Just give him a lil bit of a break. "Can't we all just get along?"

No you won't! You're one of the examples of what Jime was posting about in the General Forum. Spouting BS and not knowing what they are talking about from pure experience.

Keep up the BS and we'll deal with you like we do every other knucklehead harda$$ wannabe.

The End.

WOW! You can undo nuts and bolts and replace a piece of exhaust piping!!!!!!!! Want a cookie?

If you dont know what in the world you are talking about, then DON'T POST. I can't help but laugh at your comment about handling all kinds of newbie posts.

Just stick with the posts that ask how to make vinyl skyline tail lights, and all will be well

Okay back to the subject. Say if I wanted to get Stage 1 Cams exactly what else should I get to help this install run smoothly. I wanted to go with WebCams because they were much cheaper but I'm hoping it's not a "get what you pay for" product. Also, how much HP could possibly be gained from installing a set of good cams in your engine?

its not so much a "get what you pay for" situation...WEB has been around for a while as has Motorsport. they've made VG cams for a while, so don't let big names steer you away. Personally I think the Motorsport 262s would be perfect for a mild VG setup. and only $170 or so with core charge. there are a wealth of cams out there for the VG(more than 4-5 companies)...don't limit yourself to JWT.

Unless we're installing the SLO Y-Pipe on my car....

I was thinking about maybe some of the VG30DE cams in my VE in the future, but I'm not so sure that it's a good idea; the turbo plus cams may push the bottom end over the limit.

So a Motorsport 262 for a non-turbo should add some pretty good gains? I'm wondering because I was thinking about calling Web Cams and having a custom cam built but if Motorsport has a cam that's pretty much what I'm looking for then I might as well go with that one.
