how does the solora v6's compare to our maximas?
they are about the same horse power as us.

in general, the toyotas are a notch down performance wise from the Maxima. They weigh more, which hinders performance some. But well driven, stick for stick, it'd be a fairly close race. Toyota makes a nice engine too... Dont sleep on the solara

Hey Maximus_95. I like your car.....it's cleaaannnnn. I am pretty sure you can take a Solara. By the way, like a week ago, i saw your car at the 7-eleven on Del Amo and Anza. It was nice! You were chillin with your friend. I think you saw me in my white 95 Maxima Se. I had to go and pick up something from 7-eleven. I would have chatted, but was in a hurry. I'll stop by next time by if i see you again. Anyways, good luck!

Solaras are pretty nice cars, but they are notch slower. Unfortunately for you. TRD makes a SC kit for that thing that is light years better than the Stillen SC for our cars. Their SC kit is bulletproof reliable, takea about 4 hours to install, and pushes hp up to around 230 to the wheels plus lots of torque.

very true dave, TRD's SC does make the stillen kit look like fisher price-my first supercharger........
but still uglier than a bowling shoe, especially the newer model

Toyota's 1MZ engine is a torque beast. It may be a tad heavier than the Max, but the extra torque makes up for it and they're equally fast in the 1/4 mile. Driver's race.

Dave

Yes it is quality stuff. I could be wrong but I believe you pay through the nose for those TRD superchargers. I had a celica before my max and believe me that TRD **** is EXPENSIVE!

maximus i said it b4 n ill say it again, your car is sick!!!! i need to know your cardomain addy, or send me some more pics or somethin. i need a new desktop wall paper. lol

well i raced a solara yesterday (4 cyl) and it was not even a race. still havent seen any 6 cyl but i just dont see it being that quick. it looks heavy as hell and if it is sharing the same 5 speed from the sedan i dont think it will perform well. that camry tranny isnt the best performing tranny out there. With TRD support he can have some potential. I wish nissan had the same support for their cars like toyota, mitsubishi, mazda. hell even hyundai has a lil section on their website to show off customized cars. Ive seen mazdaspeed proteges, rali art lancers, where in the hell is the Nismo SE-R. oh well... let us know what goes down as far as the solara goes, im confident you will beat him. have fun
