max i think carstats.com is pretty close, sure ..every car, test conditions, driver, and tracks are different, but it does give you a good idea !

download the free version of cartest. it runs in DOS, but is quite accurate. just do a google search for "car test" then you can mod your car and see what changing things will do to your performance

www.car-stats.com
www.autosite.com

Both of those have "mag time" listings. But as it goes with mag times they may not even be remotely close to what the cars are really capable of, so take like a grain of salt.

With a $35 copy of CarTest2000 I can dial in the specs for any car and tell you pretty close to what it's capable of and be pretty accurate as long as there's no funky under/over-rating going on. That guy that runs car-videos.com also has a section with performance stats that's based off of cartest software too.

http://www.car-videos.com/performance/

But there's no better place to get the scoop on what cars are "really" capable of than by visiting the forums for them. Who would think that a 95-99 Maxima with "only" 190hp is capable of running high-14 1/4 mile times.

Well you would be surprised in the difference a 5 spd and the perfect conditions yield. There are 2 stock 4th gen 5 spds running 14.7, yet a stock 4th gen auto is as slow as mid 16's. Sometimes there is a huge range in performance.
