Well I figure with 100k on my car, the stock boots are ripped and will need to be replaced when I install my suspension. Has anyone here used universal boots (for instance those found on summitracing.com, etc)?


I would like to stick with my oem's but I am afraid they will be torn by now.

 

When I had my outer CV joint boots replaced on my old 92 SE, the dealer bought them from Carquest. They were much thicker than the OEM boots and cost about $13 at the time. It cost $100 labor for them to install them.

 

I used KYB boots
SB103 and SB108 from www.taylorautomotive.com

 

on the KYBs. I bought them for my 92SE, they are extremely thick and high quality and (for my car anyway) came with bumpstops on the top. Very nice.
