I had a ding on my rear fender, right on the "flared" part and another one on the door. We had a (don't laugh) "Ding King" in our garage. It was someones cheap idea of a x-mas gift. Anyway, it worked great. The door ding popped out easy on the first try. And the one the the fender took a couple tries but it eventually came out as well.

I would try it for any small dents you may have. The ones I had were about 2 inches in diameter, and popped out fairly well.

It made me nervous using it though....you had to use a hot glue gun and glue it onto the car, then twist it and pull the ding out. It kept pulling until the ding was just the opposite, then the glue released and the body popped back into shape.

is dent wizard a guy that can pull them out for you?

i would find one that has a reputation for doing a good job and go to him..

a few friends of mine had it done on many of their cars, we live in New York and everything is very tight here and lots of cars, so you get banged up very easily no matter how much you try to take care of the car and watch where you park..
anyways,
the guy did an excellent job on their cars, one of my friends had the whole side dinged up real bad, like 20 dings, he made it smooth, couldn't tell there was anything there..

only charged like 80 bucks for the entire car. Can't beat that

personally, i have about 5 dings on the car and i'm waiting until i accumulate more, then i'm going to get it done.

i can't believe this thing actually worked! i mean it looks just like a hot glue gun and a little suction cup... is the adhesive you use different from real hot-glue? i imagine that real hot glue wouldnt stick to metal very well...

I didn't think it would work either, but it surprised me. It is basically a suction cup and you put the hot glue on it and then stick it on the center of the dent. You then let it "set up" for a few minutes before attaching the rest of the "equipment". I didn't think the glue was going to release, that is what made me nervous. But it eventually popped off and the dent was gone.

It worked great for the small dents I had...

I bought a ding king a long time ago. It seems to work on certain dents in certain spots. But overall I wasnt satisfied with it.

I had a couple of small dings removed by DentWizard and he charged me $50. They normally start out at $99 but they have flexible pricing. He did an outstanding job.

My friend had a Dent King, and it took the paint right off his car in a big 2" diameter chunk.

I tried it and the guy was terrible, made it worse, so he didn't charge me and acted like he did me a favor, told me if I like I can give him a tip. So I told him buy low and sell high, what a moron, tip him for what, damaging my car further and wasting my time? I'm sure in some cases their process may work, but in most cases I don't think it would. Just think about how much energy is needed to create the ding in the first place--it's not just a "kiss" from another door. You cannot position that tool perfectly behind and push it out, and they end up making convex dings while they work the tool.

Unfortunately I think dings are a fact of life. When I'm downtown I see nice cars with dings, like S600's etc. I actually have never seen a Porsche Carerra with a ding--those fellas probably are extra careful or something.

I was thinking that it would take the paint off by the way it adheres to it. I would be very afraid to try it.
