New Maxima owner
New Maxima owner
[SIZE=7][COLOR=Navy][FONT=Arial] I just bought this 1995 Maxima SE like a week ago. It has 100K miles, what if anything should I be mindful of. Do I need to get anything replaced or serviced? Thanks.
First off welcome to the ORG! You might want to be prepared for some sensor replacemnet if your car treats you like mine treated me. i got mine with about 100K too. O2 sensors, stuff like that. If you want to mod, def get the clear corners first and if you are for performance, get the Y-pipe. Good luck
You can do what I did. I bought mine a week ago also. 1999 with 100k then the engine light came on. Rear O2 sensor $90.
Then KN air filter, PCV valve, fuel filter, thermostat, serpentine belt, coolant as PM.
I did not change the spark plugs because the prev ownr just did it in january.
I love this car (even though is my wife's car). Enjoy

Nissan is doing a 125 point inspection for free right now. Also take it to a good non-redneck mechanic and get his second opinion. Might want to consider getting a tune up if the previous owner didnt.
