Window problem.

When I put my windows up using the one touch feature, it goes up and then goes back down about 1/4 the way. If I don't use the one touch, it's okay. Has anypone had this problem before? What's the problem and how can I fix it?

had the same prob... brought my max in to the dealer for other reasons. i also told them about the window. he said he would grease the tracks. well after that no probs. dunno know if that was it or not but it worked. if you look real closely when putting up the window from auto, you see the window shift out of place a little. try some grease or oil the tracks.

There is a new TSB out for this problem. They replace the regulators/motors I believe.

I had my rights one reset, and the left one started flaking after that. Since they performed the TSB, they've both been fine.

I brought it in before and the tech said that the sensor is dirty. I don't know what he is talking about.

Mine seems to only do this on hot days. I posted earlier about this but I don't think it generated any replies.

mine has been doing this too, took it to the dealer three times and now is doing it again. i think all the dealer did was reset the motor by unplugging it and plugging it back, and yeah for about the TSB a link would be nice...thanks!

Me too. It's happening now. One day when it was hot outside it did it, then I brought the car to the dealer on a cold eday and it wasn';t acting up. We have the same problem Dave.

And to help you out, go to Profile, then signature and type in:

That way it will show up everytime you post when you click the show sig button. Then you won't have to type it in evrytime you post.

Sounds like the auto-reverse feauture is malfunctioning. The windows are supposed to auto-reverse if it senses a load on the window. That is to keep from closing somebody's body parts in the window glass and causing great injury.
