dude, you are semi retarted :

Sprints are in fact TOO low, as they dont provide enough suspension travel. Go ahead and slam into a bump, youll hit the stops. you cant go lower. Imho, the rear-sits-higher-than-the-front look looks great. The sprint drop is GREAT looking, if not the best performing...

edit: you CAN go lower, and well, but you will pay about 1500 for it *cough*JIC*cough*

give them time to settle out before you decide how bad to cut them.

did you let them settle at all,

that looks higher than my maxspeeds and my sprints come on tuesday, waht is the downside of cutting coil

sprints are already kinda low. if he cuts them without letting them settle, it will leave less spring to dampen the bumps of the road. this will transmit into the weight of the car having a more harsh effect on the struts. you can cause premature wear on the struts, blow the struts, and give yourself a harsher/bouncier ride (depending on how much you cut)

christ, thats a bad interior. and no...you wouldnt cut the coils with a knife. you would end up using a saws-all, hacksaw, or something similar

You should of got these from custom maxima, I saw the drop on someone else car. you can only fit two fingers between the tire and the fender. They Look so much better, and you don't have to cut anything..

I Personaly like my H&R and I would not go with anything else.

The rear of sprints always sit high. Everyone seems to be cutting the rear coils. I personally would not feel comfortable with cutting coils, and instead would sell/trade for a different set of springs.

That 3rd gen with the yellow/orange accents needs to be written off.

He!! yeah. H&Rs rock. I'm not to impressed on the drop but what you sacifice in looks you gain in comfortability.

1FSTMAX, your drop doesn't give off the illusion that it's uneven. What kind of setup do you have? WeIrD...

there fine. just give a couple days to let them settle and it will sit lower. would be more concerned about the people that vandalized your car by cutting holes in your fender.

they will go lower, don't worry

i wasnt satisfied with Eibach Pro-Kit (my cardomain link shows a pic taken right after it came out of the shop) and well im much more satisfied now. The pic in my signature is a recent one (this week) and I like it now. Also if you had 17" wheels or at least more opened ones (like mine in fact heh) your wheel would look bigger and the gap smaller. I wouldnt cut it.

before i installed them i used a dremel. It took about 10min per spring to cut, but IMHO its the cleanest cut. I took off actually 1 and 3/4 coils to make my drop 100% even.

as far as dustboots.... pick up a set of KYB dustboots from Tirerack, cost around $60 for the set.

lata,

Ant

i guess maybe on your car they sit even... but on every other 4th gen i have ever seen, the rear sits alot higher than the fronts. Sprints are known for an uneven drop, period.

... besides when your roll on stock rims who cares if its even or not.

Your after pic of the of your rear drop looks like my 99se stock. The front is definetly lower though. The gap on your before pics look ridiculously huge.
Are your sidewalls the correct size?
