I want to install a Y-pipe on my 01 Max(auto). How noisy is a Y-pipe with a stock muffler. I dont want anything to noisy, but a wouldnt mind a nice deep tone, but not to loud. Also, will it screw with my MPG, and how hard will it be to pass inspection with this mod.

 

I installed the warpspeed y pipe on my car a month ago. It gave my car a nice deep tone, but it is not loud at all until WOT. The performance gains are very noticeable, especially on the 00-01's.

 

that's what i like to hear. please tell me all you can about the y pipe... is it like a header? is it leagal for inspection? and will it void my warranty?
