Finally Installed H&R
Finally Installed H&R
I bought H&R's for $90 shipped. They were in perfect condition. My brother-in-law and I spent the afternoon and installed the fronts only (we didn't have time for the rears). The drop looks perfect for what I wanted and the car is now perfectly level and even.
If I install the rears, I'm afraid it might have the rear-sag-look that I don't want. The car drives so much better already around the turns with the help of the rear sway bar.
Can I get your opinions? Should I just keep it this way or might there be a long term side effect of having unmatched springs?

Well, i did that and i was riding with stock springs in the back for a while. It didn't feel very comfortable. I liked the look a lot, but i think it would look a lot better when you lowered all the sides. It will look cleaner and handle better. The only problem is getting over those stupid speed bumps.

Just so that u all know..at the hoopla about not mixing and matching springs is just that -hoopla and hooey......
After one year my rear Eibachs sagged to high heaven and I replaced them with H&Rs. Now I have Eibach fronts and H&R rears -and it's perfect: dead flat to a wee bit canted forward and my ride comfort improved dramatically...
