what color is the trunk switch in the drivers kick panel ...?? not the trunk pop the wire i'm looking for tells when the trunk is open/closed

 

the wire for the switch never goes to the kick panel

it just runs right from the switch (inside the upper part of the trunk) to the lamp
it's just a ground signal, the trunk light always has power going to it but only comes on when this ground is sent

it's a pink wire
