rear deck speakers

rear deck speakers

i just installed new pioneer (ts-a1680r)speakers in my rear deck and they sound like crap!! is it because i used the stock bose amp?

bose speakers are individually amped, there's an adaptor needed to use regular speakers with the system. my son had his Q done at Best Buy to add to the system, but be sure that where you go they know what to do, he made 4 trips to get it right. good luck.

Bose speakers and your Pioneers have different OHMS, you shouldn't use your Bose amp at all. You have to "rewire" your system so you get the signal directly from your unit to the speakers or add any amplifier to the system for less percentage of distortion.
