The blower in my MAX seems to be on the fritz, sometimes it will work
sometimes it won't. If the fan does turn on it stays on and will be fine.

Any ideas?

 

your blower motor's brushes may be worn out. In fact I'm very sure that's the problem.

Funny I JUST repaired my mother-in-laws fan. Got some brushes over at ACE hardware(not the same, but works). Her's was in BAD condition because the commutators(where the brushes brush against) were worn out too.

You must turn your fan on day in and day out! :-)
