performance of y-piped Max - Cali Spec vs. Federal

I just realized that my Max (although bought in PA), is a cali spec. This thing has like 5 oxygen sensors compared to 3 (I think ) on the federal spec maxima.
Can anyone tell me how does that effect performance? Is horsepower, torque, 1/4 mile times different between the two or is it the same?

I am thinking of installing a y-pipe, but don't know is this Cali spec Max worth it? Or should I just sell it and buy a federal one?

It's not like the Cali-spec is that much slower. Hell, I have the fastest stock 1/4 mile time (for an automatic) and it was in a stock GXE auto. Mind you that I also weigh about 245 pounds so the car does move. I added the Y pipe and now the car is much faster.

It's worth the money.

So is the Cali spec slower than federal?
245 is my weight too, so I need every pony available.

It's supposed to be slower but I wouldn't sweat it.
