Probs with Sun roof sliding shade!!!!

Man!!!!! Has anyone had any problems with their shade that slides right below the sunroof? Mine just recenlty has been a ***** in a 1/2 to open or close!!! it sometimes prevents the sunroof from open fully!!!! I know for that to happen the shade must be the sunroofs track, but let me know what can be done here other than taking the shade out!! which i have done and it is hideous in the car with out it!!!!

I have had a similar problem with mine. I took it apart to see what it was and there are 4 metal clips pop riveted to the frame of the shade (2 per side). These clips ride in the track. Mine has two of the 4 broken and the dang thing gets hung up going backwards and forwards. I can get it to work but you have to fiddle with it a little. The only solution I can see is getting a new shade from a parts car. I've been on the lookout for a few years. No luck yet.

Same here, the only thing i did was to completely remove it and get the darkest tint i could find, and tinted the glass.
