4th gen OEM retrofit(Those who've completed enter!)

I posted up a thread about this a while back but can't find it. I've searched on HIDforums.com but came to no prevail.

I am ready to purchase an OEM ballast and bulbs set to retrofit into my 4th gen. I'm really strapped for cash and would like to remedy my HID problem. I know there are a couple of you who have been able to retrofit 5th gen OEM HIDS into 4th gens, but i forget who it was.

Im just looking for some information and help on how to do this. Im not a big expert on Nissans lighting, and my hours of reading on HIDforums.com have rendered me confused.

So before i go ahead and go with this (instead of going with the 500 dollar phillips kit), someone please help!

Thank you

I have a 5th gen HID kit... And the D2R bulbs wont fit into the 9004 socket, with out some type of adapter or glueing the bulb into the socket. Also the focal point of the d2r bulbs is not going to be the same as the 9004 HID. The d2r is going to be further back, causing a even crappier beam pattern. I reused my hanabi bulbs with OEM ballasts and ignitors.. And shielded the bottom part of the bulb.
