gasoline odor
I had this problem in my third gen.
First off, there are vents on the outside of your car, near the spare tire well. Next to muffler and on the opposite side. These vents lead into your trunk.
In my case, my feul line was rusted, and had a tiny pinhole which let some gas vapor out once in a while.
This stank up the back of my car for a while.
No big problem though.
