xdrille/slotted rotors

is it safe to get them turned? im changing my pads 2morrow and just wondering if i should/can get the rotors turned as well

shouldt be a problem but some shops probably wont and say that it will damage the cutting bit.

thanks, ill ask my guy if he'll turn em for me, if he wont do it then ill just go ahead and change the pads.
