My 93 Max

Other than a huge K&N, my car is stock. Runs great for a 230000 plus miles car. I have an ocassional mis off and on. Yet the car runs good.
Looking for some reassonable performance upgrades. Any Ideas?

wheels definately aren't stock, and unless someone went through a lot of trouble to swap all the chrome over (which could be based on those wheels) it's probably a GXE. I'd know better if he had his cardomain site showing and could see the door handles.

LOL!!! Ok you guys got jokes!!! I was talking about the engine was stock, the wheels did not come with the car. My door handles have the keypad on them. I thought the GXE had the Bose System in the car, which mine does not.
And I have DOHC, not the twin. Interesting, for that year Maxima, it was 3 models. So what do I have?

you have a GXE, and the SOHC (2 cams) and not the DOHC (4 cams). Bose came in either the GXE or the SE (no 3rd model), it was an option. If you don't know how to run the keypads there is a write-up on my cardomain site.

Thanks for the info. VG30 E is the engine listed. I just assume it was a lessor model because I have drum brakes in the rear. The keypad I know how to use, my problem is the power antena like everyone else in this group. Also my power door locks only work when the weather is over 90 degrees, other than that I have to use the key to open the door, and not my alarm.

it might be your door lock timer/actuator thing, contact matt93se, he will fix yours, or if you can solder he might tell you how to fix it...
love the way those rims look, nice and fat chrome, what size are they? 17 or 18?

Thanks I will contact him on the door locks. I bought those rims over 6 years ago. Never been happy with the chrome compared to others, it just did not shine as much. Anyway they are 17's, 225's in the front and 235's in the rear.
The price for a 225 tire is more than getting a 235 or even 245. 225's are not in demand anymore.
