anyone have access to the NISSAN ASSIST application???

I need your help, can anyone cross reference engine codes: 0304 and 0103 which are knock sensor and engine coolant temp sensor respectively...wondering if any problem exists which causes these 2 codes to happen 2gether?

both of those codes dont neccissarily mean they went bad at the same time since the knock sensor doesnt trip the CEL(stays hidden until you diagnose) so that means it may have been bad for months before the other code popped up

no, this code has not been here for months...my obd scan software on my pda keeps track of these things and it just popped up recently at the same time with the engine coolant temp sensor....

I have read elsewhere that sometimes the 0103 and 0304 codes show up together - though the real culprit is the ECTS... have you replaced that part recently? If not, its only 25 bucks and a faulty ECTS has caused many people grief!... Its very easy to change...

Did you try to clear the codes and see if they are reposted?

I always clear them using my pda and it reposts the knock sensor after about 50 miles and engine coolant temp after about 100 miles...but thnx dude, I'll try replacing that
