anyone have experience w/ KRYLON "Fusion" spraypaint? - could it work on window trim?

KRYLON has recently come out with "Fusion" spraypaint that is supposed to bond with plastic "on a molecular level". could this be used to cover up the chrome trim around the windows? black out tape is only temporary and traditional car paint will not work according to body shops. i know its sketchy to use spraypaint on your car but i wanted to know if anyone has used this yet (on car or on anything else) and how its holding up?

I've used it. I love it! I sprayed the plastic windscreen of my bike black using the Fusion paint. It works really well and I would use it again on any plastic I'd have to paint in the future.

I'm not sure how it would work with chrome. Maybe sand down the chrome a little bit? But the stuff does work well with plastic.

If the chrome is a coating on the plastic, you'd have to get the chrome off.

Sprayed about 7 months ago. No issues what so ever. It actually looks like I bought a black plastic windscreen. No one can tell that it's clear, painted black. I painted the inside, so chipping isn't an issue there. But no peeling either.

Hope that helps.
