Are my bushings worn?

This is a pic I found showing, as far as I know, new(ish) bushings.

On my car, the bushings don't look like that. They're actually squished up more. They're not cracked or anything, just squished. Do they need to be changed? I'Ve got lots of noise coming from the front end, I'm wondering if that may be the cause.

Thanks.

Edit: Ignore the arrow and groove

That is what a new bushing looks like. If you have noise coming from your front end, it wouldn't hurt to change your bushings and it might take care of the problem. Either way, the ride should be improved.

It's not from a 4-th gen, or a maxima at all. Just found it on google images. How hard is it to change these bushings? Can I do it myself (ie. Do I need special tools?)?

Bushings come in all shapes and sizes. Difficulty depends on what bushings you are talking about. I wouldn't compare how any of your car's bushings look compared to a generic pic taken from the internet.
