Bump Stops/Seals - Prices from Nissan

Out of curosity today, I called DaveB over at SouthPoint Nissan. I asked him how much the following parts would cost:

(2) Front Dust Boots (includes the bump stops)
(2) Front Paper Seals
(2) Rear Dust Boots (includes the bump stops)
(2) Rear Paper Seals

Both of us were shocked to find out that the .org discounted price was over $110.

1) Does Nissan think that they can get away with this?

2) As a side note, I'm gonna contact a few local auto-parts stores to see if they have an aftermarket version of them. If you've bought them online or from an auto-parts store, post where you got them, what you got, and how much you paid.

Might give the local salvage yard a look. I was offered the full front spring/strut assembly for 50 bucks. Then you could sell the spare parts.

I think KYB(Dust Boots/ bump stop) makes them for our car.

I used Rancho boots from Summit racings ($7/each) and cut the paper seal from a roll of paper gasket. Works great. No noise so far (6 weeks+).

Do those paper "seals" really do anything? Since installing my suspension, I have one side of the car without them (yeah, I forgot )
