I just installed my Fidanza and Y-pipe, first impressions....

Last Friday masssmail helped me replace my tranny and put in a fidanza flywheel, magnaflow CAT, and a WSP Y-pipe, and boy, what a difference those made! My car revs MUCH faster and smoother than before and pulls hard all the way to the redline.

These are the first actual performance mods I've done and I'm much happier with my max, but it could still use a bit more power. This weekend the CAI is going in and a few other mods will be soon to come. And to those who put a CAI on after installing a Y-pipe, how did the CAI compare to the Y-pipe performance wise?

BTW: I probably wouldn't have attempted the tranny swap without massmail's help, so thanks, I owe you!

sweet!!!!

The only thing I would have done differently is put the stock y back on, drive it for a day or two to get used to it then put the wsp on

I know how you feel though, I just took my VE out for a 20min drive after driving my dads VQ for the last few days. <3 my VE

the intake will make a pretty dramatic difference now that you've got the y pipe on there..

also look at a UDP.. also a huge difference.

So you'de rather have the VE MrGone? I'm much happier with mine now. Matt, I'm going to look into the UDP next, I need to do the engine seal too. I'm looking forward to the CAI, I hear it compliments the y-pipe well, since you can get more air in and out of the motor with both of them together.

BTW: DMad8724, the VG is a great motor too, the nicest thing is that you can turbo it easier than the VE, no VTC problems either, hope this makes you feel a bit better.
