Better mileage with an intake?

Hey, I've seen a couple of posts where people say they are getting better mileage with a berk or CAI. I was wondering if this is true, if so I may consider replacing my stock setup with a berk intake just so I can get some better mileage. Right now I get about 400 miles per tank, which works out to 21.6 miles per gallon. Even if I'm cruising at 75 on a road trip I don't seem to do any better than 450 miles per tank. How are you guys getting over 26 miles/gallon doing 75 on the highway if I can't even get close? My car seems to run fine, no probs or so that I know of, so am wondering what's wrong. Also does the 3.5 liter V6 get better mileage than the 3.0 liter V6? I'm curious to see what you'll have to say....

Yes the 3.5 gets better mileage on the hwy if you have the 6 speed. Knocks your revs way down.

Don't know about your intake ? though. Cant imaginer a noticeable gain from it.
