95 Maxima intermitent stalling problem
95 Maxima intermitent stalling problem
Hello to you, newbie here. I have a problem with my California version Maxima, a 1995 manual trans with 250K miles. About once a day, the Maxima will cut out with the clutch in or out, doesn't matter. I have to wait for about one minute, pump the gas once to the floor then turn the key for it to start again. If I don't pump the gas, the engine will just turn and turn without firing up. The car has done this twice in one day the other day, once while driving at 65MPH and the other one was when I was coasting with the clutch in approaching a stop sign. The car has a new fuel filter installed 5 days ago with 2 new O2 sensors---left and front bank but I have not replaced the cat O2 sensor yet. This sounds like it could be a fuel pressure regulator problem or a fuel pump. Others?
Also, where is the cheapest place on the web to buy a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator at? thank you very much!
TIA.
