TSB covered by extended warranty or just 36000

I have a 2001 max with 40000 miles on it. I have a 75,000 extened warranty on it. will that cover a TSB? i know the normal limit is 36K. Will the dealership still fix crap for free? thanx

Actually, it depends on what the TSB is for. If it's engine or transmission (anything powertrain) it's covered under the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Anything other than that, such as windnoise, rattling, bose, etc is ONLY covered under 3/36,000. If you're over your 3yr/36000 and you have a TSB that isn't powertrain, you'll have to pay.

very true! Check your extended warranty paperwork to see if it covers "sensors". If it does you are covered.
